Hiya! Welcome to Hytreks.com, the digital home of Kristy, Ben and Owen Hymans.

In June 2020 we downsized from our townhome in Minnesota to a 30 foot long RV travel trailer. The reason? So that we could take our family of three on a 12-18 month long road trip to see all the National Parks in the continental United States. You can expect to see a lot of photo and video content of our trip on this site. There will probably be a few good shots (from Kristy), and probably some less good shots (from Ben). We will also use this site to tell stories or share ideas that we find interesting. Most blog posts will be authored by Ben, but if Kristy (or Owen) decide they want to write one, we’ll make sure to tell you.

Posts and content will likely be intermittantant and our responses will be sporadic. We plan to use this site to chronicle our adventure, but the purpose of the trip is to explore and enjoy America’s National Parks as a family.

As we make our way across the United States we would love to hear any tips you may have on campgrounds, landmarks, hiking trails, RV hacks, or interesting things to see. If you’d like to catch up with us along the way, check out where we’ll be, and contact us!
